In order to improve livelihood opportunities and bring prosperity to the North Eastern Region(NER) and Himalayan States including Sikkim, Government of India has launched Horticulture Mission for North East and Himalayn States (HMNEH) for integrated development of horticulture. The Mission is based on " end to end approach " taking into account the entire gamut of Horticulture development, with all the backward and forward linkages, in a holistic manner.
